Hello! My name is Margaret Collins and I teach kindergarten at Orting Primary School.  I have been teaching kindergarten at OPS for 15 years! I grauated from Central Washington University with my B.A. in elementary education in 2000. I have been married to my husband Jeff for 21 years and we have 3 children who have or are attending school in the Orting School District. Our family loves camping and spending time outside.

I communicate with my families through an online app called Bloomz. It is an app that works both on a smartphone and a computer. I am able to give quick updates and photos of class activites, add things to our class calendar, post classroom needs, and schedule confereces on Bloomz. My classroom expectations are that we will be safe, respectful, and responsible.

A fun fact about me is that I spent the first half of my childhood in rural eskimo villages above the arctic circle where both of my parents were teachers. I got my love of teaching from my parents and am glad I followed in their footsteps.
