  • I am honored to serve and represent the many excellent teachers in the Orting School District. This week, we are again annually celebrating and recognizing the significant role and responsibilities of teachers in America’s public school systems.  As educators, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers have experienced a tumultuous, emotionally fueled school year coupled with high anxiety and irregular, non -traditional work schedules unlike any previous school year in our history. Despite the uncertainties and threat of serious illness, our teaching staff have courageously stepped up and proudly endured the instructional challenges brought on by the pandemic to serve our very deserving students, whether it be in person or remotely delivered.

As we quickly move into the last two months of the 2020-21 school year, I want every teacher to know that I join the many parents and individuals in our community and School Board to sincerely express our heartfelt appreciation for your devotion to serving our students every school day.

    Thank you,
    Tony

You are the glitter to our glue, and yes, our files would be a mess without you.
